Kevin Thompson is a recent graduate of Wayne State Law School and is currently the law clerk at Ernst Charara & Lovell, PLC. While in law school, Kevin was a recipient of the Governor’s Scholarship for academic achievement in his undergraduate degree. Kevin is set to join ECL Law as an associate attorney in late 2020.
Kevin is incredibly strong academically—he graduated in the top 10% of his class at Wayne Law and is a Silver Key award recipient for both the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school years, as well as a Gold Key recipient for 2019-2020 based on his academic achievements. In addition to his strong academics, Kevin is an accomplished oral advocate and was the Wayne Law Winter 2019 In-House Moot Court Competition Champion.
Kevin is passionate about helping those who have been injured or wronged and has been an integral part of Ernst Charara & Lovell, PLC since its inception. Under the direction of some of the best trial attorneys in Michigan, Kevin has briefed issues and advocated for clients in the most complex areas of personal injury and civil rights law. He has worked on several appeals in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and routinely does work in both Michigan and Federal courts. However, no matter how straightforward or complex the case, Kevin has a track record of success and is persistent and tireless in his pursuit of justice for ECL clients.
